Working with sign language interpreters and providers can be a new and overwhelming experience. Here at the Center for Independence, we can make that experience easier by providing you with the appropriate service and service provider required to suit the needs of you and your clients. We take time to evaluate those needs and the nature of the appointment to ensure the appropriate provider will be sent in order to achieve effective communication.

To allow your organization to better understand policies, procedures, and compliance with the ADA Law, we have compiled a list of resources below to quickly address questions you may have. If you have further questions, please contact us.

Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services

Our programs are designed to work with the needs of our consumers, including individuals who may be partially deaf, Deaf, newly Deaf, hard of hearing, or anything in between.

ASL interpretation and advocacy for ASL users is a large part of our service as well. See Sign Language Interpreters section above to request ASL interpreter services.

Through technology training, transition support for youth and elderly, and more, we are able to help you reach the level of independence you deserve.

The Center for Independence believes in accessible information for all peoples, at all times, but especially at times where information is vital to survival. So we are using this space to share vital CDC information.
