Sponsored by the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA)
The Walk4Hearing is the only nationwide event bringing attention to hearing loss and promoting the importance of hearing health. Funds raised support HLAA’s national awareness and education programs, HLAA Chapters and State Associations, and alliance organizations who help extend HLAA’s mission into local communities. In 2021, the Walks are virtual. There is no virtual Walk in Colorado; therefore, the Western Colorado Chapter is associated with the Nashville, TN virtual walk to be held June 13.
Denice Roberts, Technology Services Coordinator at CFI, has been associated with the Western Colorado Chapter of the Hearing Loss Association of America for several years. She is currently the Chapter Leader and has chosen to walk for the first time. Please help her support HLAA. Or choose to support one of the other team members: Amy Becktell, Dennis Becktell, or Pamela Kreps.

The Walk4Hearing is about sharing an experience, learning from each other, making memories, and taking the first step toward better hearing health. Participating in the Walk means joining thousands of people across the country and right in our neighborhoods who understand what it’s like to live with hearing loss.
Did you know that one in seven Americans are living with some degree of hearing loss? Hearing is an important part of overall health and the Walk4Hearing calls on all of us to take action. By being active, engaged, and making hearing health a priority, people with hearing loss can live well. Let’s Hear Now and Be Well Together.
It all starts right here in my own community with generous people like you, who are willing to step up and support HLAA.
